We highly recommend taking advantage of our hospital-grade OCT scanner, available for an upgrade fee of £24. The scans allow us to see much more of the eye than the instruments used in NHS tests and can be repeated in future visits for comparison. A major benefit of the scanner is that it allows our clinical team to spot potentially sight-threatening disorders much quicker.

The team at Sun Street Opticians are professional and experienced, but also very down to earth, friendly and approachable. Carol, Shane and Edward provide excellent customer service, nothing is ever too much trouble. I can’t express enough how amazing all of the team are, from the moment you arrive, the professional eye examination, to the friendly, professional and knowledgeable Shane & Ed in choosing, fitting of glasses.
